Katie Witherley

Osteopathy

Katie’s interest in the human body and science started at a young age. Both of her parents are involved in medicine and they encouraged her to spend time with a local osteopath, which hooked her on this career.

After graduating from the British School of Osteopathy in 2009, Katie returned to her home county of Suffolk to work at Gilmour Piper. She’s also worked as a lecturer teaching undergraduates Osteopathic techniques, and is trained in Pilates with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute.

Katie uses Structural Osteopathy, Dry needling / Acupuncture and Clinical Pilates to treat a wide range of issues. She particularly enjoys treating lower back and neck issues, as well as having a special interest in women’s health and strengthening slightly older athletes.

Katie loves living in Suffolk with her husband, three children and dog, a rather lively Border Collie. Always sports mad, keeping fit is very important to Katie so she’s often found either in the gym or out running. In the warmer months, she and her family enjoy sailing their boat around the local rivers.
