Julie graduated from Durham School of Podiatric Medicine in 1991 and started working at Ipswich Hospital in both the Outpatients department and specialist Diabetes unit.

She has experience of working in clinics in rural areas and towns, for both the NHS and private practices. She’s also worked in the NHS Orthotics lab making specialist bespoke devices for complex foot issues. Orthotics can be prescribed for foot pain after a biomechanical assessment.

Julie joined The Ipswich Foot Clinic at Gilmour Piper in 2007 and has an interest in verrucae. She uses a diverse range of treatments including dry needling, hyfrecation, cryotherapy and chemicals. She also carries out general footcare treatments and surgery for problematic or ingrowing toe nails.
