The Team

James Potter

James has worked as a physiotherapist for the last 10 years, gathering a wealth of knowledge in the differing environments where he has worked, from acute injuries in accident and emergency departments, to chronic and degenerative conditions seen in the NHS musculoskeletal physiotherapy department. He has worked with elite youth and

professional adult footballers and many amateur athletes, giving him a broad knowledge base from which to draw from. He has taken many post graduate courses to further this knowledge and improve his skills, including management of acute sporting injuries, acupuncture, pain management and Clinical Pilates. He is currently studying towards a master's degree in advanced musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the University of Hertfordshire.

Away from work, James has ridden and competed at motocross for over 20 years, giving him a unique insight into the demands and pressures of professional athletes, high velocity injuries and multiple pathologies! He is also a very competent runner, winning the Suffolk whole hog team

race 2010, 2011 and 2012 and sights the injuries associated with running as a particular interest.

James understands that everyone is unique, and needs to be treated as such. He enjoys the analytical search for the source of your pain, looking in depth at contributing factors that are often missed by others. Clear explanations and individualised treatment plans are drawn up in collaboration with the patient. An assessment with James is always an interesting experience
